Sandra O’Neill

Sandra’s background includes over twenty five years experience with a career in business, marketing and sales incorporating strategic marketing, sales, business development, general management, consulting, training, advertising, media and digital technology.

As well as a broad scope of practical knowledge to draw on, she also holds prominent qualifications in Business, Marketing and IT and is a Nationally Recognised Certified Trainer and Assessor. Throughout a career in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and the USA she has gained a valuable insight of businesses across a variety of industries and appreciates the diverse challenges they encounter.

Through knowledge as a business owner and having previously held executive management positions within international organisations, Sandra understands what is involved with the balance required to successfully deal with several areas of a business. This mixture of corporate and small enterprise skill set is extremely beneficial to consulting and training because each business and individual has their own unique challenges and she is experienced in dealing with people from diverse industry backgrounds. She is familiar with working alongside businesses on a range of management structures, including corporate, SME and franchises.

One of Sandra’s areas of expertise is in developing and delivering training to the business sector as well as Vocational Education Training (VET). She is passionate about teaching, educating new professionals in their career pathways. As a specialist in this field she has development vocational training materials for a number of Registered Training Organisations RTO’s throughout Australia. 

Sandra is a Training Facilitator, Fellow and Certified Practising Marketer (CPM) of the Australian Marketing Institute, for which she also serves on AMI Committees including State, Accrediation and Emerging Marketers programmes. She also has involvement with various business organisations and presents as a guest speaker and contribution writer for business publications. What is a Certified Practising Marketer?


CPM is the qualification of a Certified Practising Marketer, as benchmarked by the Australian Marketing Institute.  It shows that you are a professional marketer recognised by your peers for your extensive experience and formal qualifications.

It also means that you have made a commitment to ongoing professional development to maintain a competitive advantage. A Professional Maintenance Programme needs to be made up of structured learning such as CPM workshops, tertiary study, marketing forums and management training.

CPMs are required to undertake a minimum of 100 hrs (approximately 33 hours a year) of Professional Maintenance over a three-year period to maintain certification. PMP is subject to random auditing and must meet the criteria and policies set by the Australian Marketing Institute Accreditation and Endorsement Board Committee.
