Users To Pick Ads
Users are now to pick their ads as Fairfax Digital websites will offer visitors the option of choosing which ad they watch before viewing a video, in what’s being claimed as an Australian first. Users will be given a choice of three ads to select from its Ad Selector. A US Study by Starcom Mediavest found ad recall rises 386% when visitors choose the ad they wish to watch. Brands including Nestle, Proctor & Gamble and KIA have signed up to Ad Selector.
